Puppy 101
Learn what your puppy is saying to you – learn the basic body language of our pets.
Prevent issues with common problems in the home (counter surfing, sock-chewing, & other issues)
Learn to use alternative words other than “No” to jumping & nipping!
Teach your puppy to look at you for direction and to learn solid focus.
This one-hour class will teach puppy:
- Household Manners
- Socialization Skills
- Dog-to-Dog Skills (Nose to Nose)
- Dog-to-Human Skills (Greetings at Their Own Pace)
- “Sitting for Please”, “Leave It”, “Focus – Watch Me”, “Coming When Called’, and “Go to Your Place”
Prerequisite: This class is best for puppies 10 weeks – 5 months old.
All Dogs must be current on all vaccinations. If your dog reacts negatively toward other dogs or people or has severe behavior issues, these classes will not be a good fit. Contact Understanding Your Dog for private sessions, which will be the better option.
